Senior Portraits in Mayfield Heights, Ohio

As a senior portrait photographer in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, I had the privilege to photograph a graduate who wanted to capture his photos in two meaningful locations- his high school and the iconic Squires Castle. Shooting senior photos at Kameron's high school (Mayfield Heights High School) added a personal touch especially since he played sports and Squires Castle gave us a unique backdrop for unforgettable senior portraits. Both locations are about 10-15 minutes away from each other, just a quick drive. There are some great photoshoot locations near Mayfield Heights, especially at Chagrin Falls Metroparks. There are lot of different areas to meet up at and one of my favorites is at the Chagrin Falls Nature Center which is really close to Mayfield Heights. The nature center has a wide variety of places and backdrops for senior photos. There are winding trails, ponds, boardwalks, and in the summer months a lot of flowers.


What to wear? I recommend at least 2-3 outfits. Many of the teens choose a more formal or dressier options along with a cool and casual look. For this photoshoot since Kamryn played sports, he wanted to wear his High School attire for some memorable photos. He knew how to looked cool and casual in his letter jacket.


The senior portrait session can last anywhere from an hour or longer depending on location choice and outfit changes. I do outdoor photoshoots during all times of the year. Each season in Northeast Ohio offers a wide variety of ideas for locations and backdrops from Summer months with lots of greens to Winter with warm tones and cozy sweaters. I am always up for a fun snow session for those who love the cold, cozy months!
