As a Wadsworth senior portrait photographer, I recently had the opportunity to do a session at the beautiful Memorial Park in Wadsworth, Ohio. This location is perfect for senior photos with its open green spaces, tree-lined paths, and natural scenery that creates timeless backdrops. Senior portraits are such an important milestone, and I love helping each graduate's unique personality shine. During the early Spring seasons there is a path lined with cherry blossom trees which make for some beautiful photos with white flowers in the background. I have also done Summer and Falls sessions at the park and each season has a wonderful backdrop to offer. The park shelter built out of stone offers a great backdrop choice for photos outside of the shelter and also through the opening window space.
What to wear? I recommend at least 2-3 outfits, more are welcome. A lot of the teen girls choose a dress for a more formal look and a casual one with jeans. The teen boys may just change their shirt, but I have had some that brought multiple outfits for a nice variety. Portrait session can last anywhere from an hour to longer depending on what location we choose and outfit changes. Northeast Ohio has four distinct seasons and your clothing choices can reflect that with different colors, layers, and accessories like scarves or jewelry. Your senior portraits are all about celebrating who you are at this exciting moment in life. With the right outfits, your photos will feel personal, timeless, and true to you.
